The FYRE Program

The Foster Youth Resilience in Education (FYRE) Program is a service offered to former and current foster youth attending the University of California, Irvine. Located in the Student Success Initiatives office, FYRE helps its scholars with a free book loan program, a print card, tutoring and more.

The Fresh Hub is a great resource for student of all kinds to be able to access basic needs such as groceries, a kitchen space, and toiletries. Here you can also set up an appointment with a CalFresh representative to see if you are eligible to receive a Snap Card to buy groceries.
